Documentary lecture
A lecture presentation in which David Irving discusses historical methodology, archival research, and the challenges of establishing documentary truth. The programme examines how historians work with primary sources and evaluate conflicting evidence.
Irving draws upon examples from his own research to illustrate the process of documentary investigation—locating archives, assessing source reliability, and synthesising evidence into historical narrative. The lecture addresses the practical aspects of conducting original research.
Of particular interest to students of historical methodology and those seeking insight into Irving's research process. Part of the Irving Books documentary collection.
DVD format. Region-free playback.
