How to read your Irving Books eBook

Our eBooks are supplied as standard EPUB or PDF files. EPUB is the easiest choice for most readers because the text can resize neatly on phones, tablets, and e-readers.

1. Download

Use the link in your email or sign in to your account downloads page.

2. Open

Choose the reader app for your device. Apple Books is simplest on Apple devices.

3. Keep a copy

Save the file in a folder you recognise in case you change devices later.

What is an eBook?

A digital book file you download to your phone, tablet, computer, or e-reader. No printed book is shipped.

Which file should I use?

Use EPUB where offered — it resizes for any screen and reads best on phones and e-readers. PDF preserves the fixed page layout (useful on a desktop or for printing).

Where is my download link?

Sent by email to the address used at checkout, and saved permanently to your Irving Books account at /account/downloads.

I lost my download — can I get it again?

Yes. Sign in to your account, or ask the Librarian on any page of the site to resend the link — just paste your order email.

Can I read offline?

Yes. Once downloaded the file is yours; works offline forever. No internet connection needed after download.

Is there DRM?

No. Our eBooks are DRM-free. Download them, keep personal backups, and move them between your own devices without being locked to one app.

Helping someone with a download?

Digital purchases are easiest when the reader buys with their own email, so the files stay in their Irving Books account. If you already bought a download for someone else, email us and we'll help get it to the right place.
