About the Book

The Mare's Nest is David Irving's first major book, first published in 1964. It tells the story of Germany's V-weapons programme and the British intelligence effort to understand and counter the rockets and flying bombs that threatened London.

The work draws on classified British intelligence files, German records, and interviews with scientists and intelligence officers involved in the wartime campaign.

Due to David's health, he is no longer able to sign books. We have only a very limited number of signed books that we are able to offer, and each signed listing is sold individually.
