About the Book
Apocalypse 1945: The Destruction of Dresden was first published on April 30, 1963. Using official papers, private records, and the accounts of eyewitnesses on both sides, David Irving gives an account of the RAF Bomber Command raids on Dresden in February 1945 and the political consequences that followed.
The book examines Dresden as a centre for refugees and hospitals, the decisions that led to the attack, and the controversy that surrounded the raid after the war. This edition runs to 320 pages.
Due to David's health, he is no longer able to sign books. We have only a very limited number of signed books that we are able to offer, and each signed listing is sold individually.
